Luke has been with Fraser Valley Building Supplies for 20 years. He knows our industry in and out, working every job from yard hand to truck driver, to yard supervisor and store manager. Luke loves leading the dedicated team of community-minded staff at our Nelson location. He lives in the east Fraser Valley and spends his time away from work playing music and relaxing with family.
Skip is a devoted employee of Fraser Valley Building Supplies, having been with the company for four years. However, he's been a part of the Nelson store for an impressive 32 years. His passion for helping people extends beyond the workplace as he enjoys spending quality time with his wonderful kids and soon-to-be wife, Lisa. When he's not working or with his family, Skip loves exploring the great outdoors. Camping, hiking, biking, and skiing are just a few of his favorite activities.
A classic hardware store, we pride ourselves on supplying Nelson’s contractors with the materials they need to keep building and strengthening our community. Building supplies from roofing to windows to siding are the specialty here, alone with custom engineered floor plans and wood products.

I have often shopped at Nielsen’s over the years. They carry an extensive inventory of many things you need in the moment to fix the cottage repair. They are very helpful and friendly. When ordering larger special items they are competitive. I wrote this review because I couldn’t believe more people were not giving them reviews. Thank you for being there when needed during the last 15+ years.
Nelson's workers at the shop are great! They always go above beyond for help. Especially Michelle is very professional and knowledgeable for all information that you need. Thank you guys!
